Ajomasiwe at Afro
Afro Motel is the place to be this Sunday as comedians under Ajomasiwe spray laughing powder in their maiden show. Ajomasiwe features Andrea Thonyiwa, aka Mr Jokes, Madalitso Nyambo, Charles Simbi, Wales Chigwenembe and Andy Samati. Apart from comedy, poets Evelyn Pangani, Hudson Chamasowa and Joseph Madzedze will also spice up the launch.
 Alleluya takes on Club 21 in Liwonde
After having performed at the launch of St Pius Hall in Blantyre, the Balaka-based Alleluya Band outfit is this Friday expected to give their Liwonde fans a rare treat at Club 21. The group will be joined by Toza Matafale. However, missing on the list of artist will be Skeffa Chimoto, who has travelled to South Africa for a performance in Randburg.
Summertime gala
Saturday, fun roads lead to Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima for the Summertime Gala. Featuring musicians Maskal, Dan Lu, Armstrong, Black Missionaries and the Great Angels Choir, the sandy beaches will also feature fashion designer Cathy Kamthunzi. Under a MultiChoice-Sunbird Hotels-Redspot banner, the gala will also feature various games: volleyball, taekwondo, beach soccer and fulaye.
