In an interview, band leader Coss Chiwalo said they are going to raise funds for Andiamo Under-Five Clinic.

“We raised funds last year for the clinic and the community benefited as under-five children were treated for free. But we need more health resources so we are going to raise more funds so that we can make sure of better health for children,” says Chiwalo.

He added that through Alleluya Band’s initiatives, over 15 000 under-five patients have been treated at the clinic.

“It pleases us to make a difference. There is a confusion that we go there to make money for ourselves but we do all this to make our community a better place, so people should not be surprised to see us walking by foot after we come back,” said Chiwalo.

The band has been performing in Italy for charity causes since 2000.
