Baptist Church donates to orphanage

The Livingstones Baptist Church recently donated several items to Namasimba Orphanage Centre in Nancholi.
The items included two bags of 50 kg maize, cooking oil, bathing and washing soap; one bale of sugar, exercise books and pencils.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pastor Billy Banda said the church was obliged to take care of God’s people.
“Other people, too, should feel compelled to help the less privileged,” he said.
