Beta TV remains unsatisfied with their general output of TNM Super League matches’ live broadcast despite commendable beaming of an encounter between Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.

According to Beta TV marketing consultant Dan Tambala, whose firm secured exclusive broadcasting rights deal, they have just fulfilled at least 65 percent of their anticipated broadcast quality and they are doing their best to reach the 100 percent mark in the next league fixture.

“So far, I can say we have managed to get to the expectations of most viewers but we are yet reach our own expectations,” said Tambala. “Although we are facing challenges, especially, electricity blackouts, we are working hard to fulfil our promise of giving out unadulterated broadcast quality in the next match.”

Some soccer fans expressed happiness with the live broadcast on Sunday saying it was much better as compared to the previous day when some technical hitches such as audio and signal loss spoiled the beaming of another league match between Be Forward Wanderers and Blue Eagles.

One of the fans, Wellington Mkwezalamba, wrote on Beta Television Ltd. Facebook page: “Today was nice between Big Bullets and Silver. Nice commentary and nice (High Definition) HD+ cameras. I loved it…Beta is indeed better.”

Another fan Boston Nyirenda wrote: “Guys mumatha. Size yanu m’Malawi muno mulibe. (Guys you are great. No one in Malawi can match your [broadcast] quality.)”

Nevertheless, some fans urged Beta TV to improve in certain areas such as having a clock on the screen to show game time and having frequent replays. Tambala said they are looking forward to improving the areas so as to give viewers the best.
