Blossom Africa to hold conferences

Blossom Africa will next Saturday hold regional spiritual conferences in Mzuzu on December 13, Lilongwe and Blantyre where female pastors are expected to counsel women and girls.
Blossom Africa Trust is a Christian nonprofit organisation whose core aim is to improve the lives of women and girls spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Blossom Africa Trust coordinator June Lutwama said since its inception in 2006, the organisation has committed to empowering girls and women through motivation, information dissemination and skills training.
“Research shows that many Malawian women continue to be victims of gender based violence, lack of education and HIV/Aids. Many feel trapped and are resigned to such challenges,” she said.
Scheduled speakers include Pastor Doris Chaponda , Zhora Matundu, Keta Ngosi, Salome Mwanza, June Lutwama, Prophetess Doris Chaponda and pastor Stella Fowowe while in Blantyre Prophetess and Pastor Towera Masiku.
