“To my fans, the long-awaited mixtape is here and the 20-track project is worth the wait as it brings together the finest vocal features and productions,” said Bucci.

He said the mixtape delves into a futuristic twisted concept about life as a journey.

“Life throws roses and thorns to all of us. And every person has a 50-50 chance of success or failure. So, life is basically waiting for our arrival based on the odds. However, to a greater part, we are the captains of our own individual ships and we can stir our life to a better us which is worth waiting for; hence, Worth The Wait,” said Bucci.

The mixtape focuses on motivating people.

And it contains some lovely R&B, Afro pop and a feel of house/dancehall music that will keep fans on their feet everywhere.

According to the Nde’feyo Entertainment producer Gaffer, the concept behind the mixtape appeals to both the young and the old.

He said: “As an entertainment company, we are trying our best to make sure that we deliver unique sound, hence making sure we appeal to the whole population.”

The success of the mixtape also rides on the back of gifted hands of other producers such as Daredevilz, Tricky Beatz, Black Eye, Yesaya and Bucci himself.

The launch will be supported by Fredokiss, Theo Thomson, Mafo, Saint, Classmates, Dali, Marcus, Toast, Trap Squad & Sangie as a guest artist. Later in the evening, the party continues at Basement Night Club for an after-party. n
