Carlsberg Malawi Limited last Friday relaunched its new and stylish Carlsberg Green bottle in the capital, Lilongwe.
The launch was characterised by glamour as imbibers were treated to free Carlsberg beer as they listened to cool music by Mibawa Band.
In his remarks, Carlsberg Malawi chief executive officer Abel Chanje said the new bottle provides a look and feel that is in line with the global design of the Carlsberg brand.
“It is our desire that people stop drinking ntonjani and kachasu (illicit liquor) and embrace our new-look Carlsberg brand,” he said.
Chanje described the launch as a land-mark initiative for his company in the last 45 years.
He said by introducing the elegant bottle, Carlsberg Malawi believes it has given its brand a modern touch in line with its company values.
The bottle was also launched in Blantyre last year.
