Cezobal launches Corporate Social League

The Central Zone Basketball League (Cezobal) will launch the Corporate Social League on May 17, according to the league’s vice-chairperson Barlett Mafuleka.

The social league has attracted teams comprising former basketball players. The Nedbank qualifiers for the Central Region teams will mark the league’s launch.

“We already have confirmations from the likes of Limbe Leaf, Tonse Solutions, OIBM, RBM, Premium Tama, Africana and Thirsty Boozers. We are talking to a few hip hop artists to come and spice up the occasion,” said Mafuleka.

Meanwhile, the junior leagues which are sponsored by Game Street will be concluded on May 19.

“Game Street have promised lots of surprises for the winning teams. There will also be Veltro Dance Crew to spice up the occasion,” said Mafuleka.

The league has also announced that the men’s games will resume next week whereas the women’s will start on the May 12.
