Munthali made the remarks on Monday during a mock ‘send off’ fundraiser that Christians from Area 1 of his church conducted at the church.

The event was aimed at raising money for some of this year’s planned charitable activities.

Munthali said when religious institutions have no money they fail to reach out and touch the souls of people with the word of God and other physical needs.

“Let us remember that money is vital to achieve the mandate that God gave us to meet the needs of the disadvantaged and spread the gospel to the lost souls hence let believers be vigilant in sourcing money,” he said.

Munthali further urged the believers to be visionary in their individual lives and advised them to resist people who can backslide them to achieve their spiritual, physical, social as well as economic aspirations.
