Concert to help the needy

Helping Hands In Relief, Democracy and Development will on January 2 2012 hold a mega gospel concert that is expected to attract artists like Thocco Katimba, Peter Sambo, Chisomo Ndeule, Precious Namadingo and many others.

Executive director of the faith based non-governmental organisation Reverend Marious Chiunjiza in an interview said the mega gospel concert is expected to take place at Bangwe secondary School in Blantyre.

“The money raised from this concert will be used to support vulnerable students at the school with fees, food as well as accommodation.

“We are organising this event for the first time since the establishment of this NGO this year and we are expecting to raise not less than K300 000 and the gate collections will be K500 per head,” said Rev Chiunjiza.
