“Of course I’m willing to serve in the same position again. I am committed to seeing football grow in this country. But that will depend on the district football committees.  If they nominate me, I am ready to contest,” said Ajawa in an interview on Wednesday in Lilongwe

Chiwiriwiri-Harawa also confirmed he will seek re-election.

“I think I still have a lot to contribute towards the development of the game. But it will depend on my getting nominated by the district committee,” he said.

CRFA has nine district committees that will send delegates to the AGM on November 19.

Meanwhile, the Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) is yet to announce the date of elective AGM.

“We are yet to adopt the new constitution. We are meeting this week and once the executive adopts the constitution, we are going to announce the date. But it will be this year,” said SRFA chairperson Raphael Humba.

The Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) will have its AGM on November 20, according to acting general secretary Patel Kaunda.

‘So far, we are yet to receive nominations for those wishing to contest, but I hope by next week we will have a complete list. All I can say is that all the positions are up for grabs,” he said. n
