Epac FC defender Tsanzo Dalio has been loaned to Chipiku League Premier Division side Namitete Young Rangers, The Nation has learnt.

Dalio was restrained from playing for Mighty Wanderers in the second-round of the TNM Super League after Wanderers failed to pay K1.3 million out of a K2 million (about $4 000) transfer fee.

Namitete Young Rangers general secretary Deus Kamwana and Epac team manager Sam Elias have confirmed the development.

Rangers are on position nine on the log table with 35 points.

“It is true Tsanzo [Dalio] is with us until end of the season. We have good relationship with Epac as we also gave them midfielder Elia Chilemba,” said Kamwana.

While confirming the news, Elias declined to shed more details on the loan arrangement.

“I don’t know the agreement of the loan, but I was told by our chairperson [Dini Josaya Banda that he has been loaned out. For more information, you can contact him,” said Elias.

Efforts to talk to Josaya-Banda and Dalio proved futile as their phones could not be reached.

Dalio was already featured in two away games against Kasungu Medicals and Wimbe United, which Namitete lost 4-2 and 2-0 respectively.
