Football fans Father Joseph Sikwese and Tony Mfune returned from Gabon on Tuesday where they watched the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals between Cameroon and Egypt courtesy of Total Malawi.
The two won Total Afcon 2017 Two Tickets Promotion.

In an interview after landing at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) on Tuesday afternoon, Sikwese said he will treasure the experience for the rest of his life.
He said: “Attending the Afcon final in Gabon stands out as one of my greatest sports travel experiences. It coincided that I am a fan of Cameroon and they won the cup. Almost 95 percent of the stadium was filled with fans cheering Cameroon; you can imagine the atmosphere.

Memorable experience: Sikwese (R) and Mfune
“The stadium was reverberating with cheers for Cameroon and they came from behind to win because of that support. It was incredible. I have never experienced something like that,” said Sikwese.
Mfune said the whole organisation of the trip was outstanding.
‘We were warmly welcomed and joined over 100 other football fans from several African countries where Total is operating. Prior to the game we toured several beautiful places in Gabon. It is a beautiful country after which we watched the finals. It was great and we thank Total for this experience,” said Mfune.

Total Malawi managing director Seggie Kistasam said the promotion was done as a thank you to their customers for the business support.
“We are giving back to our customers for all the business support throughout Africa as well as contributing towards development of the countries Total is operating in through sports,” he said in an interview on Wednesday. 
