 ‘Enemies’ fuelling Ramadhan’s deportation—BB

Big Bullets FC claim they have substantiated evidence that officials of other clubs are inciting their coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan’s deportation on the basis that he is working without a permit.

Bullets chairperson Kondi Msungama was reacting to the Department of Immigration’s threat that the Burundian risks deportation.

“Ramadhan is not on contract because we are yet to finalise his work permit process with the Department of Immigration Services.

“In fact, he is not getting paid, neither have we provided him a house, but we have been tipped by well-placed sources that officials of other teams are at the centre of all this, but I will not mention any names at this point,” said Msungama.

He claimed that the coach is only providing technical assistance to the team as a social activity.

Ramadhan could not be reached for comment.

Immigration publicist Martha Sanyala-Gonondo said through an email: “The department arrests, prosecutes and deports any foreigner that contravenes the conditions of any permit. We have informed Big Bullets to apply for a proper work permit for their employee as soon as possible.

“The crime is Contravening Immigration Permit Conditions contrary to Section 37(B) of the Immigration Act.”

  1. come on Kondi Msungama! be professional. what you people at bullets are doing is very illegal. Their coach & Bullets executive must know the procedure of recruiting a foreign worker. To say people of other clubs are inciting for the deportation of their couch is ignorant of the highest order. Let him do things according to the books. Let me remind Kondi that now things have changed,we do things according to the law/book osati zomangolota zanuzi. You must advertise the post first, shortlist,do the interviews, have have results of the interviews,cv copies of all applicants, copies of the advert in the newspapers then you can submit your application to the immigration dept for this coach if local coaches who applied do not have papers like the Burundian. Otherwise zimene mukupangazo ndi zakodyetsa ng’ombe9ku ubusa) kumene aliyense amangopanga malamulo akeake. please wake up from your deep sleep and start doing things professionally and legally.

Now what will the official from other clubs benefit if your coach is deported? be patriot Kondi and do things orderly, I hope you will not beg money as well for the permit of your coach. School and exposure ndi zothandiza. get educated on some of these things.Otherwise its embarassing for someone like you to say such words yet you know the dude(Rhamadani sp) is being paid for working at bullets.AGAIN BE PATRIOTING KONDIE NSUNGAMA!

  2. I admire Kondi Msungama but on this one, I want to disagree with him. I am an ardent fan of Big Bullets but that doesnt mean we should break rules. Its simple. Get the guy proper documents- end of story. I would join your fight if it the immigration was being pressured by other pipo not to give Ramadhan a work permit. But not this . Come Kondi, pipo make mistakes, admit this and do the right thing
