Favoured celebration at Robin’s
Renowned gospel musicians will meet on December 28 at Robin’s Park in Blantyre for the last show of the year.
For only K1 000 ($2), fans will watch Favoured Martha, Princess Chitsulo, Lloyd Phiri, Grace Chinga, Ethel Kamwendo, Reverend Chimwemwe Mhango, Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers, Great Angels Choir, Ndirande Anglican Voices and Neligo Women Choir performing.
The organiser of the concert, Favoured Martha, said she, together with her colleagues, wants to thank God for the year 2014 and the mercies He provided.
“We have seen churches organising prayers to thank God and people go in different places to celebrate. That’s the same with us; God has done a lot for us in the year 2014 and we have a reason to thank God,” said the Ondikonda Ndilinaye singer.
Last year, Favoured Martha held a similar show where several gospel musicians showcased their artistry.
“We started this concert last year and I am also preparing for a similar event next December. It is good to thank God for the good things he has done like the talent He gave us,” she said.
