Struck a brace: Gabadinho

But Mhango tops the list of Malawian scorers in the PSL after overtaking Platinum Stars’ Robert Ng’ambi who has four goals.
In the match beamed on SuperSport 9, Phakamani Mahlambi opened the scoring in the 20th minute beating Ajax goalkeeper Jody February before defender Thulani Hlatshwayo doubled the lead in the 31st minute.

Mhango then came off the bench after recess in the 58th minute and scored the third barely a minute after his introduction, heading home from a corner kick. James Keene made it 4-0 three minutes later.

Mhango then completed his brace in the 78th minute as Wits moved top with 28 points from 14 matches to tie with Cape Town City, but with a better goal difference.
After the match Mhango told the South Africa media that he was glad to hit a brace in the first match of the PSL after a month-long break because of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
“God is good. It was great to score,” he said. 
