Gospel musician Khama Khwiliro is set to release his second solo album Ndaona Kuwala next month, barely a year after the success of his first project Nthawi Yanga Yakwana.

Khwiliro, younger brother to renowned secular musician Diwa, said Ndaona Kuwala, which was recorded at three studios, Active A Studio, Dick Kankhunda Studio and Kitchen Studio, would surpass his debut solo work having engaged man-of-the-moment Faith Mussa and last year’s gospel sensation Limbani Simenti on some of the songs.

He is scheduled to launch the album in August.

He has also involved members of Impact Sounds; Amos Mlolowa on drum programming and keyboards, Mvahiwa Hanke on guitars, Dick Kankhunda on keyboards and Chambota Chirwa on bass guitar during the production.

“These guys are professionals in terms of live and studio music production. So, by the look of things, it’s one of the best albums of 2014,” he boasted.

The soft-spoken born again Christian artist said he wrote and composed all the 11 tracks, including a special dedication to his wife Jackina, inspired by the miracle of healing he received from God.

“Ndaona Kuwala is a testimony of what I have gone through recently in my life. I got sick but God saved and healed me. So people should expect a powerful album full of God’s revelations and inspiration,” says the musician.

Khwliro ventured into serious music in 2001 with Christ Melodies which recorded its first album Mbuye Khululukileni in 2003, the second album Mukumbuke in 2008 and the third album Ndimankondabe Yesu in 2010 before the group disbanded.
