Kuku, Bullets in talks over  players’ salaries

Kuku Matches Limited and Big Bullets are in talks over possibility of the match manufacturing company pumping at least K3 million into the TNM Super League champions for players’ salaries.

It was reported on online publication Malawi24 on Wednesday that the deal has been sealed and that Kuku will brand their products with a picture of the team’s captain Fischer Kondowe in exchange for the financial backing.

However, Kuku managing director Hossam Jussab and Bullets chairperson Kondi Msungama said the deal is yet to be signed.

“Bullets asked us for support towards the welfare of their players. We will notify you when everything is ripe,” said Jussab, who was once the club’s chairperson.

According to Msungama, they have approached several companies and individuals for assistance ahead of their participation in the 2015 CAF Champions League. n
