Mibawa to hold first 2018 show at Chameleon

 

Mibawa Executive Cafe resident band will host its maiden show of the year at Chameleon Bar in Lilongwe on Friday after a month-long break.

Events manager Steve Banda said the show, scheduled to start at 8pm, and will offer their fans a rare treat on public demand.

“Most times when we go to Lilongwe we are booked by corporate institutions. So, our fans have been asking us to hold such a show, that’s why we have organised it,” he said.

Banda assured the fans of a grand show using the new and powerful equipment the band has just acquired.

“I ask our fans to come and enjoy our first show of the year as we have prepared well to kick-start the year in style having bought new equipment,” he said.

The band consists of Khizo B, Find Code (Chikondi Suleiman) Chifundo Harrison, Dingani Chapomba, Simeon Harrison, Manuel Milanzi and George Mkalemwa.

Chameleon Bar owner Stuart Miller said they expect a powerful show from Mibawa, which will also be the first band to perform at the up-town bar this year.

“Mibawa have played many times at the bar, the last time was in December. We expect a professional show with an excellent sound system people should come prepared to dance,” he said.

Miller also said Chameleon will host Kunyenda Band on Saturday.
