Milazi made the call last Sunday at Bimbi in Traditional Authority (T/A) Kuntumanji in the district when her organisation donated maize flour, sugar, salt, soap as well as plastic paper roles to needy families.

She said God purposefully blessed other people with wealth as a channel for Him (God) to reach out and touch the vulnerable people as He cannot come down to assist them.

Milazi further called on communities to be creative in coming up with ways of eliminating poverty in their households if the country is to develop.

Group village head (GVH) Bimbi agreed with Milazi and asked well-wishers to fund the community with farm inputs such as irrigation equipment, seeds, fertilisers. n
