Mutharika at Trade Fair

President Peter Mutharika is currently at the Malawi International Trade Fair (Mift) where he is officially opening the event at the Chichiri trade fair grounds in Blantyre.
Mutharika will be speaking to exhibitors and invited guests soon.

Speaking to Nation Online yesterday, Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) head of membership service and communication Enid Mauluka said this year’s fair promises to be exciting, citing that more participants have confirmed to take part compared to the previous years.
“We have registered a good turnout of people willing to participate in this years’ fair. Meanwhile, the hall is fully packed with various items on display hence we also expect a good number of patrons,” she said.
Mauluka said so far, four countries—Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and India—have confirmed their participation and four others, Egypt, Germany, South Africa and Mozambique will come as spectators.
The fair this year runs from today to May 31 2015.
