Court documents  Nation Online  has seen show that the Mzimba Hora MP purchased 4 Pick-up trucks from a motor vehicle dealer TATA Zambia Limited (Malawi Branch) in 2013 valued at $75,222.06,

At the time of the purchase, Ngwira was northern regional governor for the former ruling People’s Party (PP).
