While employees of the Trust Group of Companies, which is the holding company for Chilembwe Lodge, were having lunch, Namadingo was dishing out sparkling vibes. He performed a number of tracks, including the popular Msati Mseke.

By the time he completed his set, participants clapped hands to appreciate his talent.

Business development and marketing manager for Trust Group of Companies,Victor Chipofya Jr., said the Trust invited the artist to be part of the initiative in which they contributed K80  000. So far, Namadingo has raised over K1.2 million.

“As part of our social corporate responsibility, we thought it wise to invite Namadingo to perform for us at lunch. We believe that together we can make a difference in lives of children in the cancer ward at QECH,’ said Chipofya.

On his part, Namadingo said his initiative is currently on track as it has received overwhelming support from the public.

“I am receiving numerous bookings because Malawians have seen the power of this initiative,” he said.
