Nkhoma Synod GS in mock wedding for former school

Former students of Mitundu Secondary School have organised a mock wedding for CCAP Nkhoma Synod general secretary (GS) the Reverend Vasco Kachipapa and his wife Madalitso, both alumni, to be held on December 12 to raise funds for maintenance of the school.

Mitundu Secondary School Alumni Association chairperson Joe Magowa said in an interview the grouping expects to raise about K3 million ($5,105.47) from the event to take place at SOS Vocational Training School in Lilongwe City.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Emmanuel Fabiano is expected to grace the occasion.

Established in 1969, Mitundu Secondary School has produced notable personalities, including Inspector General of Police Lexten Kachama, Leadership for Environment and Development (Lead) regional director Sosten Chiotha, comptroller of Statutory Corporations Zangazanga Chikhosi, former First Lady Anne Muluzi and Lilongwe City deputy mayor Kwame Bandawe. n
