The gospel songstress said the 10 tracks include Wandimenyera Nkhondo, Holy, Covenant, Keeping God, Ndidzaimba, Mwandilanditsa and Wamayankho which is a dedication to her husband Lucky Kumwenda Dube she married in June this year.

“This project is special to me because I took time off while working on it to plan for my wedding that is why it has taken a bit longer to produce it,” said Nyaradzai.

“In fact it’s a dedication to my husband and the title track Wamayankho is a dedication to him.”

She appealed to gospel music fans to get a copy as it would also soothe their spiritual lives.

“This album is full of the word of God, the worship songs will  be a blessing to many people,” said Nyaradzai.

The album has  been produced with financial help from   her husband who is a based in South Africa.

But the couple does not expect much returns from sales due to piracy, which has hit hard the music industry.

“We are not expecting to make money from the album because there is nothing much that the government and authorities are doing to deal with piracy,” Nyaradzai said.

“I produced the album mainly because it’s a talent that I have and I don’t want to kill it simply because I am not getting any financial rewards.”

She is expecting to launch it next year after finishing shooting videos for the songs.

Nyaradzai, a backing vocalist for Chitheka Family, is known for songs such as Msiyeni Mulungu akhale Mulungu and Famba na Jesu.
