Director of State Residences, I would realise that it was grossly unfair to verbally redeploy over 50 members of staff at State Residences.

If I were my good friend Peter, I would appreciate that these are not aganyu doing piecework, but government employees with running contracts.

Oh yes, if only I were the director of State Residences, I would appreciate that the first step would have been to follow the procedures on redeployment other than taking them by surprise.

As rightly observed by private practice lawyer Justin Dzonzi, the move to verbally communicate the transfers and the order for them to vacate their houses is a serious breach of the Constitution.

If I were the director of State Residences, I would appreciate that the people are not working at a personal estate and they need to be treated with the respect they deserve.

That is if only I were bwana Mukhitho, unfortunately I am not him.
