Chitsulo, who started the regional winter gospel concert with a performance in Mzuzu at Boma Park on Friday, said she has decided to conduct the regional performances as one way of interacting with her fans in the Northern Region as they enter into the winter season.
The Blantyre-based pint-sized gospel artist said she will use the shows to encourage people in the North to sustain their faith in God.
“These shows are special; my aim is to reach more people in the North with gospel messages through these performances. We have started with Mzuzu then Nkhata Bay. After few days break, we will later perform in Ekwendeni, Rumphi and Karonga,” she said.
Meanwhile, Chitsulo said she is in the process of recording her third album.
“I am coming up with a new album which will be dedicated to God for his healing. The songs in the new album are more of praising and thanking God for providing me with a new lease of life,” said Chitsulo.
Although she did not disclose the title and date of release, Chitsulo revealed that the album will have 10 tracks, most of which have been recorded.
“I have done most of the songs, people should just be ready. Anytime from now, the album will be on the market,” Chitsulo said.
Chitsulo’s previous albums include Sindilora and Palibe Otsutsa.
