The African Union Regional Delegate for Southern Region in the Southern African Development Community (Sadc) and the Common Market for East and Southern Africa (Comesa), Ngomo Augusie, says Malawi must promote the use of contact and dialogue to sort out any of its internal and external squabbles, if it is to remain the famed Warm Heart of Africa.

Ngomo said this yesterday at a dialogue meeting organised by Bedir International School in Lilongwe.

He said dialogue is a great way to bring those with different opinions together, understand each other’s point of view and reflect on different perceptions.

Ngomo has, therefore, encouraged Malawians to continue with dialogue whenever there are misunderstandings at all levels

He also said the peace Malawi is enjoying means that Malawians, prefer dialogue instead conflicts.

“For the country to achieve the freedom and the peace it is enjoying there must be a lot of work to do, like there must be mutual understandings among its people whenever there are misunderstandings,” said Ngomo.

In his remarks, Bedir International Schools country director Ramaza Shabani said dialogue is the best way to solve any conflict in society. n
