Retraction

Yesterday we carried a story “Malawi’s kung fu film excites” in which we erroneously reported that the movie was done by a group from Ndirande in Blantyre and we also went on to wrongly attribute hands behind production of the movie. The truth is that the group Kufewa Acrobatics is from Lilongwe’s Area 36 and the movie , The Town Monger, which is 82 minutes long, not 43:40 minutes as said in our story was directed, edited and produced by Shareef Atwab.

We sincerely apologise to Kufewa Acrobatics, The Town Monger production team and our readers for the misinformation. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.- Editor
