A 35-year-old Rumphi man Robert Namitsutsa has won the fourth ticket to watch the 2012 Uefa Euro semi-finals in the ongoing Carlsberg (Malawi)Euro Promotion.

It took 40 entries for Namitsutsa, who is a nurse at Rumphi District Hospital, to win.

“I am so excited to go to Europe for the first time. I thank God for that. I am not a keen soccer follower and I do not know much about the Euro Championship, but this experience will change everything,” he said.

Commenting on the promotion, Carlsberg Malawi senior brands manager Twikale Chirwa said: “With the promotion fast drawing to a close at the end of this month, we are eager to continue bringing Carlsberg hospitality to our consumers.”

He added that Carlsberg will ensure that local fans who will not be lucky to go to Poland should also enjoy the games.

“Carlsberg will have big screens in Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Blantyre to make sure football fans can truly enjoy their football and also enjoy Carlsberg.

“It is always possible to improve on what the company does and the Euro games are an opportunity for Carlsberg Malawi to think of ways it can do better for its consumers,” he said.

There is one last ticket up for grabs for the trip to Warsaw, Poland.
