Separation and divorce (1)

Listen to this article

My thanks goes to Akossa Mphepo, the editor of Every Woman in Nation on Sunday for forwarding the e-mail that  Mr Everhart Nangoma sent to me, where he wanted to be educated on marriage and why both men and women are increasingly seeking for separation and divorce.

I am a survivor of both separation and divorce and have gone through both difficult and painful situations of which without the mercies and grace of God upon my life, I would not have been what I am today. I suffered extensively both mentally and physically. As a result, I became an angry and bitter woman surrounded by the spirit of rejection. God the Father, who loves us all the way, gave me a spiritual father who has ministered to my life for years and is tirelessly assisting me in many areas.

Now I am what I am, a vessel of God. Forgiveness has been accorded to those that caused our separation and divorce. Without forgiveness, I would not have been healed and the pain would not have subsided. Through it all, though, I remember that the innocent life of my dear husband was lost. I have a sad story that concerns children whose parents have undergone divorce. But because my God’s love for my family is great, I am now able to say that my children are a special blessing to me.

God has given me this ministry of Family Clinic and also ministering to the majority of God’s people through Spiritual Family in the Nation on Sunday after going through the pains of separation and divorce and at the 11th hour. As such, I am not ready to compromise the God given ministry for the sake of wanting to please people but to present the ministry as the Father in heaven and the Lord God Almighty intends.
