Speaking during the ceremony, St Columba CCAP moderator the Reverend Innocent Brave Chikopa said the bus was bought due to the dedication that management of the congregation showed in mobilising resources, reliance on prayer, strategic focus and working towards a goal that they wanted to accomplish.

He said, among other benefits of acquiring the bus, it will also be used for commercial purposes to supplement the church’s finances.

In his remarks, St Columba session clerk Bayana Chunga said the success of the church in accomplishing such a task should be attributed to commitment of the church as a whole.

He said: “As a session clerk, I am extremely delighted because of today. It is an expensive bus, it is worth smiling for.” n
