Phiri has warned other clubs to expect no mercy

Three top teams will receive cash prizes. The champions will receive K150 000, the runners-up will get K100 000 while the third-placed pocket K75 000.

So far, Northern Traders and Central Poultry have offered meals and accommodation to all the teams participating in the tournament.

Presenting part of the K100 000, for food and accommodation assistance, Northern Traders owner Paolo Losacco challenged the youth to be innovative and use their talents for survival in the country.

Meanwhile, Mzuzu Taekwondo Club has intensified its preparations.

“We have assembled a strong squad for this tournament. People should prepare for good display from Mzuzu Taekwando Club,” said the club’s captain Joseph Phiri. n
