TNM has said it will sustain the Sapota Mapeto promotion even after conclusion of the Super League so as to help teams to generate revenue.

TNM public relations and sponsorship manager Limbani Nsapato said this on Tuesday during the ninth draw, which was the last before concluding the flagship football season next weekend. The promotion will run up to January 25 2015.

“We are hoping to sustain the momentum during off-season bearing in mind that teams will have to look after their players during-off season and without proceeds from gate-collections, this promotion will help,” said Nsapato.

Meanwhile, Bullets continue to call the shots in the promotion as they have now accumulated K7.8 million so far from 245 100 hits.

In the past two weeks, the People’s Team made K448 168. Their arch-rivals Mighty Wanderers remain second having accumulated about K3.3 million from 117 730 hits. In the past two weeks, the Nomads have generated K185 948. Silver Strikers are third on K1.14 million from 40 916 hits.

Red Lions are still the least earner having made only K4 200 from 150 hits.

During the ninth draw, several participants won cellphones, vuvuzelas, footballs and T-shirts while the biggest prize of the month went to Zomba-based Bullets fan Joseph Ligomeka who won a Samsung plasma TV a fortnight ago.
