Toyota Malawi Limited on Tuesday introduced an all new generation Corolla which unleashes style, improved fuel efficiency, peace of mind and pride.

According to Toyota Malawi, benefits from the 11th generation Toyota Corolla include cutting edge design and package, an interior that projects fine quality and pleasant driving performance.

Speaking in an interview after unveiling the new Corolla, Toyota Malawi marketing manager Sousten Chigalu said the new car brings a better driving excitement for customers.

“The car has more legroom so that they don’t get tired when they are driving on long distances. It has a changed dash board which is user friendly for customers. The shape of the vehicle has aerodynamics that easily cuts through the air, lowering resistance and making it more fuel efficient. The car has also reduced engine and environmental noise,” said Chigalu.

According to Toyota Malawi, the Corolla has the highest sales volume since 1966 and has consistently been offering more than other passenger cars.

In Malawi, Toyota Corolla has dominated the medium passenger vehicle segment for years with an average sale of 150 vehicles per year since 2010.

Toyota Malawi said the new car targets corporate, small and medium enterprises, the government and non governmental Organisations.
