Police in Thyolo arrested two Mozambican nationals over the weekend for allegedly being found in possession of 12 human bones believed to be of people with albinism.
Thyolo Police spokesperson Edith Kachotsa said the two are Never Rhodrick and Rex Majawa from Chindiwo Village in Milanje, Mozambique.
Kachotsa said the two were arrested after police at Luchenza received a tip-off from a businessperson that he had been approached by the suspects offering to sell him body parts at K500 000.
She said the two will appear before court to answer charges of being found in possession of human body parts.
