Umodzi Park partners Miss Malawi
Umodzi Park yesterday joined Nation Publications Limited (NPL) and Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) as a partner in running the Miss Malawi pageant.
Speaking at Bingu International Convention Centre (Bicc) in Lilongwe after sealing the deal, one of the organisers Tereza Chirwa-Ndanga of ZBS cited Umodzi Park’s commitment to partner the pageant as an indication that the Miss Malawi brand is back to its level best.
“What started as a dream is now getting bigger by the day. We are humbled that the corporate world continues to support us in making our maiden season successful,” she said.
Umodzi Park will host this year’s Miss Malawi pageant grand finale slated for next Friday at Bicc.
On his part, Umodzi Park finance manager David Gordon hailed the organisation of the event, saying his company was partly attracted to the theme incorporated in the pageant [of overpopulation], which he said aligns with their corporate social responsibility on environmental enrichment.
