Cardinal Parolin, who is second in command after the Pope, visited Malawi earlier this year and met Mutharika.

  1. Are you saying the VP just flew to Italy to invite the Pope? Are you serious you people? Is it not possible just to send someone closer to Italy such as the High Commissioner to France or UK?
I think other countries are just laughing at us when they hear that we have sent the VP just to invite the Pope to come to Malawi. Or you want the VP also to travel because he has been grounded for too long!
