Be Forward Wanderers on Wednesday got a timely boost ahead of tomorrow’s derby against Nyasa Big Bullets when three of their key players were declared fit.

Strikers Peter Wadabwa and Jimmy Zakazaka and attacking midfielder Jaffalie Chande who were nursing injuries, have all been declared fit for the TNM Super League showdown slated for Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

The Nomads team manager Stevie Madeira said the trio will be available for selection as they seek to end their age-old rivals’ dominance in league matches.

However, the Lali Lubani Road outfit will still be without goalkeeper Peter Munthali, defenders Harry Nyirenda, Foster Namwela and midfielder Isaac ‘’Tcheya’ Kaliati who are still nursing injuries.

Madeira played down their absence, saying: “We are not loosing sleep over their absence as we have a huge pool of talented lads waiting to be unleashed on our noisy ‘neighbour’.”

On the other hand, Bullets team manager Rahim Ishmael has said they are crossing their fingers on the fitness of their first-choice goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe who was supposed to undergo a late fitness test yesterday.

However, he said defender John Lanjesi and midfielder Mike Nkwate are still out.

The Nomads are tipped to parade their Nigerian new-signings Adekola Ayinla and Ebuka Fabian Ozochukwu.

However, the centre of focus will likely be on Chande and Kondwani ‘Scholes’ Kumwenda who are looking forward to getting a run against their former teams. n
