Leopard Match staff strike enters 3rd day
Leopard Match Limited employees in Blantyre have vowed to continue
with their strike which commenced on Tuesday, until management acts on
several issues, including removal of factory supervisor, John
Mathandalizwe.
The employees also want management to address issue of bonuses and
Christmas vouchers.
When Nation Online visited the premises this morning, scores of
workers sat outside the company’s fence.
Workers Union Treasure Wilson Katambo told Nation Online that they are
waiting for officials from the Malawi Congress of Trade Union and the
Ministry of Labour and Man Power Development for discussions on the
matter.
