BB top in Sapota Mapeto promotion

Big Bullets are back on top of the chart in TNM Sapota Mapeto promotion with their earnings for October at K2.4 million (about $6 000).

TNM public relations specialist Brian Mungomo Jnr has attributed the increase to several factors.

“This month we launched the second round of the Super League, we were out in the townships where we actually interacted with customers and informed them about the promotion. Teams have also started interacting with the fans and, actually, trying to get the fans to rally behind them and participate in the promotion,” said Mungomo during the fourth draw of the competition yesterday.

In a telephone interview, Big Bullets general secretary Higger Mkandawire was excited at the change in tides for Bullets. He implored BB supporters to give TNM their full support so that their team can get the financial help it needs.

Mighty Wanderers are on second position with close to K700 000 (about $1 750) while Evirom FC are at the bottom of the chart with K7 056.

Matias Milanzi, a Big Bullets fam from Chirimba Township in Blantyre, emerged the winner of the Sapota Mapeto draw and will get a 42’ flat screen.
