Relegated Blantyre United have reclaimed Tizgowere Kumwenda and Victor Limbani from TNM Super League champions Big Bullets after a one-year loan period expired on December 31.

United’s administrator Lawson Nakoma said on Wednesday the outfit is now ready to have contractual talks with any team interested in the services of the duo.

“Any team wishing the services of the duo should approach us. At present, it appears Bullets are no longer in the mood to buy them as the club’s chairperson [Kondi Msungama] personally told me that the two players are a surplus to their requirements,” said Nakoma.

“He, however, said they would come back to discuss the issue after consulting his fellow executive committee members on January 2 but he has not done that up to now. Therefore, we will accept offers from any other team.”

While accepting that Kumwenda and Limbani are now in Blantyre United hands, Msungama dismissed Nakoma’s claims that Bullets are no longer interested in the players.

“We will still need the services of the two players, especially during this crucial moment when we are about to contest in the CAF Club Championships. We are currently in discussion with Blantyre United to see how we can go about it,” said Msungama.

Kumwenda and Limbani were loaned out to Bullets at a fee of K750 000 each for the 2014 Super League season
