Former Big Brother Africa representative Code Sangala’s (C.O) album Solo formerly scheduled for release in July 2013 will now be available on the market November.

With a new single Kumadziore currently hitting the airwaves, the Kapirintiya member says he missed the July launch because of certain logistical reasons.

“The album drops in November and fans can buy it at all Puma Filling Stations! So far fans can enjoy a free download at Malawi-music.com for now but in November the album shall be available for sale on line at the same site,” said C.O.

Kumadziore is a second official single off the Solo album and it is a rhumba beat mixed with manganje which has attracted collaborations with Marko Sadik and Akamwire stars Fikisa.

The single has lyrics in both Chiyao and Chichewa.

“The album shall be tilted Solo–The Album. The title Kumadziore, is a metaphor for all things deep. In English we are able to say, you touched the depth of my heart, you touched me there, where it matters most. But we dont really have a slang word to describe that deep place, hence Kumadziore. So wandifikako will equal to kumadziore.

“The song was recorded at Thom and Amos studios in Ndirande and part of the lead vocals were recorded at SAE Institute in the Netherlands, where Marko is studying. I happened to link up with Marko when I was passing through to Norway where I went to a festival in Stavern which was headlined by Sting and William who I was privileged to rub shoulders with and Canal Street Festival where I performed at a jam session with fine Norwegian artists. I went to Norway courtesy of my acting manager Miss Daland,” said C.O.

Composed by C.O and arranged by Amos, the single is set to topple local charts.

“It is C.O as you have never heard him before, I am going completely 360 degrees back to the roots as the sound is rhumba with a manganje twist hence Fikisa coming into play,” he said.

He said that he is poised to give his fans the best.

“Just like any good music producer, I am not pressured to release as I would like to give my fans the best. A few logistical issues have gotten in the way of the actual launch but fans can still enjoy the music as it shall be released in November,” says C.O.

The album will feature songs such as Ndiwe the first to be released, a remix version featuring Piksy, Want More featuring Don Dice and Tay Grin produced by Tapps Bandawe, Ruwa Rangu with Bertha Zakeyo former BBA 2 housemate, When You Go Away featuring Third Eye, Linda Madzi featuring Crystal Tetey the Ghanaian spoken word poet, and Anthu Awiri to mention a few.
