Chigumuyoyo (Corn bread)

Ingredients

Mgayiwa (unprocessed maize flour)

 

Water

Milk (optional)

Soda/baking powder

Sugar

Pot/baking tray

 

How to prepare

Mix the mgayiwa (unprocessed maize flour) with baking powder or soda.

Then put in the sugar to taste.

With the water, make a thick enough paste. You can add some milk if you want. When thick enough, put in the pot and bake like any cake.

Serve with tea.
