Chikhwawa Road entertainment spot Club XL has engaged newly regrouped Kaligo Melodies as a resident band to perform every Saturday.
According to the joint’s director Terrence Nkuta, they want to bring more life to Blantyre weekends.
“Ours is more of a sports bar and most of the times, when football games are over, patrons have no entertainment. Kaligo Melodies will spice life at Club XL every Saturday, beginning this weekend,” said Nkuta.
Kaligo Melodies guitarist Collen Ali said on set are several artists, including Saul Chembezi, Peter Likhomo and Vimbai Mashe. “For sometime, we have been in the studios but now we are back with live shows,” said Ali.
