The multi-sport Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil fromAugust 5 to 21.

“Early support will enhance preparations for the Malawi cycling athletes who will then not disappoint by winning medals. Other countries started preparations soon after the Commonwealth Games in Scotland,” said Nthanje.

He said there is need to have additional sources of funds, so as not to depend on government alone.
