Dan Lu’s Sweet Banana Video out

The wait is over. The highly anticipated video for Dan Lu’s Sweet Banana is finally out on the YouTube link:

The Sweet Banana video was premiered on several Nigerian television stations at the weekend and was uploaded online today. In Sweet Banana, the artist features award-winning Nigerian musician K-Cee, famous for the number one hit Limpopo. Both the Sweet Banana audio and video were recorded in Lagos, Nigeria late last year. During the trip, Dan Lu also recorded 1+1 which features another
award-winning Nigerian artist Mr Flavour of the Sawasawa fame.

Dan Lu is signed to South Africa-based Nigerian music company, Sisqo Productions. In an interview from Nigeria, Dan Lu’s manager Sisqo said the Sweet Banana video started playing on several Nigerian television stations such as Sand City TV and MTV Base Nigeria, STV Galaxy TV and TVC. According to Siqso, the video is scheduled to start playing on MTV Base, Channel O and Trace TV this week. He, however, said Malawi will have to wait a bit longer as he is travelling to Malawi in the next few weeks where he will personally submit the video to local TV stations.
The Nigerian further appealed to Malawians to throw their weight behind the Part of Life musician.
“Malawians should come out and support your boy Dan Lu. Let’s take him to Africa and give him all it takes to be there like other African musicians,” he said. On his part, Dan Lu said he is excited by the prospect of finally hitting the international music scene. “I am really excited because K-Cee and Mr Flavour are international artists, which will help push my music. What this means is that my career has taken off in earnest so I am thankful to God about how things have turned out for me,” he said.
