Davido in Malawi for special film screening
Nigeria’s Davido arrives in the country today for special film screening, M-Cinema has told Nation Online.
The Nigerian superstar Davido will spend three days in Lilongwe this week courtesy of M-Cinema and the Go Green Campaign.
Davido will be making a red carpet guest appearance at a special screening of new Nollywood film Spirits of the Assassin.
The Nigerian singer has a packed schedule whilst in Malawi.
“He’s flying in with M-Cinema Chairman Andy Boyo from Lagos and today he will be meeting Malawi Government officials as he signs up as the new Go Green Ambassador,” Udokporo Nathaniel, M-Cinema Managing Director told Nation Online.
On Friday he will host a lunch at the elite Latitude 13 before heading to the bright lights of City Mall, the home of M-Cinema for the 7.30pm red carpet photo shoot and film screening of the latest Nollywood film.
“Davido will be signing autographs before joining 100 lucky ticket holders for Spirits of the Assassin. Advance tickets are only available from M-Cinema priced at K5000 (US$11). After the film screening Davido will head to Club Amazon for an after party,” added Nathaniel.
Davido will fly out with Ethiopia Airlines on Saturday afternoon.
