Dickson extends lead in Chipiku League

Dedza Young Soccer striker Willard Dickson on Saturday scored a brace to extend his lead in the K6 million Chipiku Central Region Football League (CRFL) Premiership Golden Boot Race.

Dickson has bagged 19 goals. He is trailed by Kingsley Kapalamula of Dwangwa United on 13 goals.

The brace gave leaders Dedza Young Soccer a 2-1 victory over Maicc FC at Mponela ground.

Young Soccer on Sunday also collected maximum points after they beat Dowa United 1-0.

The leaders have 52 points from 23 games.

Support Battalion, who had a single game on Sunday, beat Kasungu Medicals 4-0. Battalion are on second position with 44 points from 22 games.

On Saturday, Medicals collected full points after beating Nambuma United 4-0. They have displaced Mchinji Boma Stars on third position. They have 39 points from 22 games.

Black Eagles collected three points from a possible six. They beat bottom-placed Mitundu FC 2-0 on Saturday and lost 4-2 to Namitete Young Rangers on Sunday.

Eagles are on position 18 with 24 points from 24 games.

Nambuma United had a miserable weekend.After losing to Kasungu Medicals 4-0 on Saturday, on Sunday they lost 1-0 to Maicc.
