E Wallet Mzuzu auditions pick two

Two music wannabes from the Northern Region have qualified for the next round of E Wallet auditions having impressed the judges during the Mzuzu auditions in Wednesday.

This was the first audition for the 2015 Malawi’s music competition reality show, E Wallet.

“Sixty-eight auditioned in Mzuzu and two, Mwayi Matiti and Kennedy Burton, were picked,” said E Wallet project manager Anthony Kafuwa.

The auditions continue at Sunbird Capital Hotel in Lilongwe before wrapping up at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre on September 20.

Fourteen spots are up for grabs as the organisers seek 16 national finalists who will further be trimmed to 12 by during theatre week audition.

With a grand prize of a car and other prizes set to, recordings of this year’s competition will be beamed on Zodiak television.
